Yes. That is the point of this. Download the firmware I made for you, or go ahead and follow the wiki and make your own for the 3gs.

This doesn’t affect the modem correct? Meaning I will still he able to unlock via ultrasn0w correct

Yes. As long as you always have had an unlockable baseband, pwnagetool (nor the firmware I made for you) will upgrade the baseband. it will preserve it so you can still unlock it.

@guesswh0 That would be awesome if you have one i use tmobile and dont own a mac…. So im stuck on 3.0 but cydia is giving me some weird errors so if i could get a firmware thats activated it would be great cause then i could just unlock with ultrasn0w

Like I said, questions should be in the forum, easier there, but if you are on ATT, you don’t need the activated version
