Yosel, one of our star contributors, has created a stellar guide on how to use newsgroups to obtain pretty much anything you could ever want. In our tutorial, we show how newsgroups can be used to obtain a backup copy of an xbox 360 video game. However, you can search for music, movies, video games, books…really, any sort of digital media.
Of course, The Address recommends that this is only used to download material that you already own.
The tutorial is viewable here.
Just to give a brief outline:
Newsgroups are extremely similar to torrents. You have an application that downloads the files, and you find where these files are located, based off of downloading another file (in this case, a .nzb vs. a .torrent). You get this .nzb file from a website that indexes newsgroup files (such as NZBSRUS).
If you have any questions about the whole process, feel free to ask here in our forums. We can help get you going.

Hello!
This is a little overdue. An article has been created in the wiki on how to make backup copies of your Nintendo Wii games. It tells you the required software; just google it and you can download it.
First things first, unless you are using a soft mod method, you will have to have a mod chip installed. The Address has experience with the wiikey, and would recommend that mod chip.
To install the wiikey, you will first need to take apart your wii. Here is a guide on disassembling the wii.
Click here to view a tutorial on how to install the wiikey.
Once you have the wiikey installed, it is pretty simple on how to make backups. You do need a specific drive to read the games, but that is really the only prerequisite. Once you’ve got the drive, you just need to download some programs that will rip the game to your computer, then you can burn it.
Click here to view to tutorial on how to make backups of your Wii video games.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in our forums here; our members have experience doing this and would be a great resource to offer help.
